Some elements of the game

You need to know and learn about the elements of the game and the rules.

  • Foundation Piles: At first, there is nothing in the four foundation piles. Your goal is to build these piles by suit in ascending order, starting with Ace and ending with King. To do this, you need to move cards from the tableau or the waste pile.
  • Tableau Piles: The tableau piles are where you'll find most of the cards at the beginning of the game. The red and black suits of cards are alternated in the tableau's descending sequence. For instance, a red 8 can be placed on top of a black 7. You can move entire sequences of cards if they are in descending order and have alternating colors. Empty tableau spots can be filled with any card or sequence.
  • Stock and Waste Pile: The remaining cards that are not in the tableau are placed face-down in the stockpile. You can turn over the top card from the stockpile to the waste pile. The top card of the waste pile is always face-up, and you can move it to the foundation piles or the tableau according to the rules.

How to play

You can move cards between tableau piles, as well as from the tableau to the foundation piles. You can construct descending sequences of alternating colors in the tableau. For example, you can place a black 10 on a red Jack. In the foundation piles, you build ascending sequences of the same suit, starting with Ace.

Besides, if you can no longer make any moves with the cards in the tableau, you can turn over cards from the stockpile to the waste pile. Once the stockpile is empty, you can flip over the waste pile to create a new stockpile, but only do this once.

The game is won when all cards are moved to the foundation piles in ascending order and by suit, starting with Ace.
